PROGRAMS NEXT GENERATION PROJECTThe Next Generation Project is a leadership development program for the next generation of Conservation professionals. Our pilot project has recruited twelve young leaders from the movement (ages 20-35) for five intensive workshops designed to explore new ways of working on Conservation. NEXT CHILD IN THE WOODS Based upon the movement to combat "Nature defecit disorder", as explained in Richard Louv's bestselling book "Last Child in the Woods", the Murie Center is working on a variety of different programs to help make it easier for children to experience unstructured playtime in natural settings. INTERNSHIPS An opportunity to spend time living on the Murie Ranch immersed in the work of a nonprofit, conservation organization. Interns assist with ranch operations and program administration. ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIPS TMC is continuing its work with tomorrow's conservation leaders by forging relationships with academic institutions, such as the University of Utah's College of Humanities and the University of Wyoming's Ruckelshaus Institute. The center has also worked with a number of colleges and university programs to bring students to the Murie Ranch. If you are interested in college-level programming at the center, contact us. TETON SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT The Teton Sustainability Project (TSP) is a program of The Murie Center.
